A sensor measures the live groundwater level on a 15-minute interval in a borehole in the garden of a private house in Monmouth Road. The levels shown in the plot are in metres relative to ground level (left y axis; negative values mean depth below ground level) and height above sea level (right y axis). The water levels in this borehole can be used by properties in the area to anticipate when groundwater flooding might occur.
